I studied Biology at the University of Murcia and completed my doctoral thesis in Life Sciences at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (Israel). I work in developmental genetics focused on biotechnology. My interests revolve around identifying genes that coordinate growth and biomass production in plants as well as high-value metabolites. These genes are used to enhance cellular platforms for the production of biomolecules for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and agri-food industries.
