Multimode cavities often use mode stirrers for achieving uniform electric field distributions within the processed dielectric samples. The purpose of these rotating devices is to obtain minimum electric field variance and maximum electric field intensity within the sample. In this work, we assess and compare dielectric mode stirrers with different relative permittivity values versus metallic stirrers and the cavity without stirring devices. The cavity is analysed by means of CST commercial simulation software. Results have been obtained for different materials with statistical parameters such as variance and mean values for the electric field magnitude. The power efficiency of the cavity has also been analysed for different-mode stirrer configurations.
