PBL and group tutoring

© 2015 by Nova Science Publishers, Inc. All rights reserved. In this chapter, the work carried out in an educational network program in a Spanish University is shown. This work is focused on using problem-based learning PBL jointly with group tutoring. Lecturers from several technical degrees have participated. Initially, it has been studied the collection of information by surveying students about the status of their University tutoring programs and how they think these programs should be carried out. Then, several activities to complement and reinforce the learning of the subject through PBL and group tutorials have been developed. Finally, we have evaluated the effectiveness of the activities by means of the final qualification of the subject and the degree of satisfaction of the students during the program through surveys.
