Research Interests

Dr Hernández¿s research addresses the impacts of economic activity on socio-ecology systems, the study and application of ethics to the sustainable management of business and the development of quantitative and multi-criteria evaluation frameworks of sustainability and governance.

Relevant skills and profesional experience related to the domain of the Project

As the member of Culture and Ethics Directive and Business Cathedra (CEDE) at UPCT, Simón carries out tasks in order to promote ethics, sustainability and corporate social responsibility in a knowledge and innovation context. Among his responsibilities we can find the development of teaching innovation research aimed at giving support to professors and researchers to integrate the SDGs to university teaching. These programs are focused on fostering new teaching methodologies to be more innovative and adapting to the global challenges addressed by the Agenda 2030. In addition, he develops integrated sustainability management systems to evaluate and organize the social impact of university activity.
