Industrial Engineer from Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (2002), Diploma Course in Fluid Dynamics from the von Karman Institute (2004), and Doctor from UPCT (2009). Full Professor in the Department of Thermal and Fluid Engineering at the UPCT since 2024. He completed his postdoctoral training with research stays at the universities of Newcastle (United Kingdom) and Purdue (United States). He has participated in eleven projects funded through competitive public calls in the areas of heat transfer enhancement and thermal energy storage. He is the co-author of over forty articles published in journals indexed in JCR and has co-supervised three doctoral theses. He has been awarded three six-year research periods. He served as Vice-Rector for Campus and Sustainability at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena during the period 2020-2024.
