Javier Vales-Alonso is Professor in the area of ¿¿Telematic Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT). He holds a MsC telecommunications degree (University of Vigo, 2000), PhD in telecommunications (2005) and a MsC in mathematis (UNED, 2015).

He taught at the University of Vigo, UPCT and UNED in various subjects of Telecommunications Engineering. He also collaborates in the DIRETIC master of the ENM-CUD teaching a cryptography subject.

He has been the supervisor of 5 PhD students and more than 50 graduate/master theses.

Students interested in conducting research work (TFG / TFM and post-doctoral work) in the areas of network modeling, environmental intelligence, IoT and machine learning are invited to contact.
